Fall 2020 Brazos Canoe Trip – October 2nd-3rd

About Cru Camping

We are headed to the Brazos river for 24 hours of canoeing, camping, and fishing! This stretch of the Brazos is beautiful with super clean water and the potential to catch some big bass. Friday night we will canoe down the river a bit and camp on the side of the river. We will cook dinner over a fire that night. Saturday we will wake up to fish and eventually canoe our way back to the cars. Get ready for a camping, canoeing, fishing, and quality time in the word together. Any guys from the pledge class are welcome. Please RSVP (text me) so we have numbers for food and canoes.

Brazos River

We will be canoeing the stretch of the Brazos below Lake Whitney dam. This is an 8.4 mile trip, with a 5 to 6 hour duration without stoping to fish. Granite cliffs. Clean water from under the dam. A few small rapids. Great stretch of river.
