Get Connected

How Can I Get Connected?

There are 4 main ways to get connected to Cru. Our small groups, which we call Gospel Communities and meet throughout the week. Our Large Group meeting which is on Wednesday nights. Our fun social events. Lastly our social media feeds are always helpful to follow to stay up to date on what we are doing in Cru.

Large Group

  • Large Group meets every Wednesday at 7:30 PM in Hankamer Cashion 101 (HAC 101).
  • Large Group is the easiest way to check what Cru is about and meet the people that make up Cru. We gather for an hour and a half each week to hear biblical teaching, spend time in worship, and get updated on of Cru’s upcoming events.

Social Media

Follow us for all our upcoming activities and events:

Mission Trip Opportunities

In addition to being an awesome campus ministry, next to the Catholic church, Cru is the largest mission organization on the planet. We do missions really well. They are focused on helping you be on mission and pouring into you as a college student. Check our opportunities below.

East Asia

Dates: May 19, 2019 – Jun 30, 2019
Cost: $5600
Length: 6 weeks

Students in East Asia are responding to the gospel in unprecedented numbers. They are highly relational and love to meet and become friends with Americans. This will be an experience you will never forget! Mission participants will take language classes during the week and develop relationships with East Asian students. As those relationships develop you will have the opportunity to tell them your story of walking with Jesus and share the Gospel with them. Our team will also get plenty of chances to experience the culture and do some touring of the country. We would love to have you join us for an experience like none other!

Dates: Jun 2, 2019 – Aug 4, 2019
Cost: $3600
Length: 9 weeks

Come grow your faith, grow your friendships, and grow your impact on Miami Summer Mission. You will live in the city with 60 of your closest friends exploring cultures and discovering how God can be present in your life in condos, on campuses, and in city parks. In Miami you’ll be able to work (tuition isn’t free), but also develop a heart and skills to share Jesus with your co-workers. You will join a campus team one day a week to help build up Cru movements and connect with students on campuses with little or no Christian presence. Get deep with your small group. Worship the God you’re discovering each day with us and with diverse church communities. Adventure with us on the beaches, islands, and rivers of South Florida. Learn to love your roommates (other Cru students from all over the country). Learn to love people from many different cultures and backgrounds. Chances are you’ll live in a city after you graduate. Why not discover how to be part of what God is doing in a city now?

Dates: March 11th-17th
Cost: $1903
Length: 7 days

This Spring Break, Baylor Cru will again partner with Filter of Hope to send students to Haiti. Filter of Hope is an organization that desires to provide the two most important needs of poor people in the Caribbean. Water and the gospel. Filter of Hope is present in 9 Central American countries where the most of the poor have no access to clean drinking water. We will spend four days visiting remote parts of the country and using filters as a way to share the gospel with local families while meeting there need for clean drinking water. After those four busy days, We will have a day of rest and fun spending time on the beach before heading home to jump back into school. The cost of the will cover the cost of travel, food, housing, and the filters that we will be giving out.

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. - Hebrews 10:24-25
